ALISON Hammond has won over a new legion of fans, as viewers beg for her to host This Morning everyday.
The bubbly presenter, 45, returned to hosting duties today alongside Dermot O'Leary and showed off her multi-tasking by also producing the entire show's content.
Alison won praise from hundreds of viewers during the show and also from some important people at ITV.
Fans described her as "brilliant" saying they "love" her and called for ITV to give her a show.
Before This Morning today, Alison had filmed a fun sketch with crew as past of her guest editing role which showed her explaining how things would work while she was in charge.
Alison declared: “This morning is all going to be a little bit different, because [looking at the crew] I am the boss everybody! But don’t worry, I’m not one of those people that lets it go to my head, I have changed a few things but I have kept it nice and subtle, sophisticated…. I’ve got cushions, it’s very charming.
"It’s a little bit like me really – charming, subtle, beautiful… isn’t this nice?"
As the cameras pulled back it was revealed the crew were wearing t-shirts with her face printed.
Dermot couldn't believe and jokingly asked, “who signed this off?…How did this happen?”
But he changed his mind after the show started with a fun dance routine and he declared, “every day needs to be an Alison day!”
Alison packed the show with her favourite things including an interview with her teenage crush, Rick Astley.
She also spoked to Gavin and Stacey actor, Rob Brydon, and had chef Nisha Katona serving up a ‘Birmingham Balti’ to remind Alison of her hometown.
Alison sent her friend Josie Gibson to a haunted house saying "I'm so sorry, babs" to her terrified friend and then later requested that the Love Island boys to model underwear.
She also won praise for her strict parenting after she admitted her 15-year-old son, Aiden, hates it when she turns the internet off at 8pm every night.
Knowing she was smashing presenting out of the park, Alison made Dermot read out some positive messages from viewers.
“Keep reading Dermot, it’s my show, we’ve got time!” the mum-of-one joked.
Signing off at the end of the show, Alison said, “Well, the sad news is we’ve come to the end of my edit… How did I do? Did you enjoy it? Well, I’ve had the best day ever!”
Martin Frizell, editor of This Morning, was quick to praise the presenter.
"Hats off to Alison, she pulled it out of the bag and was the tonic we needed at the end of another tough week, especially for our viewers in the north," he said.
Twitter users agreed saying, 'Alison's just good vibes'.
One Twitter user wrote: "Please give Alison her own regular show! She’s amazing!!"
While another added: "Thank you Alison you’ve made an older woman very happy!!"
And a third said: "Can Alison present this more often?"
Despite enjoying herself today, Allison has admitted she was not keen to host the morning program every day.
She admitted in August after hosting some of the summer shows it would be "too much" for take on hosting duties every day of the week.
