THE Handmaid’s Tale's O.T. Fagbenle has claimed season four will "blow fans away" as Elisabeth Moss makes her directing debut.
The 39-year-old actor plays Luke Bankole – the husband of Elisabeth's character June Osborne – in the hit Hulu series.
Filming had just gotten under way for the highly-anticipated season four when production was shut down because of the ongoing worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
Appearing on today's This Morning, O.T. said the show had exciting things in store for viewers when it does finally make it to the screen.
He said: "We had just cracked it [filming] open. I was particularly excited about this season as Elisabeth Moss was going to do some directing.
Elisabeth, 37, confirmed her directorial debut earlier this month before production halted.
She said: "Leading and executive producing this show the past three years has been such a joy and I’ve had the incredible gift of learning so much from the directors we’ve had on this show.
"I can’t wait to try my hand at working with my collaborators from this new perspective because I am lucky to have the best cast and crew in the world."
She joked: "My only hurdle may be working with the lead actress who I hear can be incredibly demanding. Wish me luck."
