New Year’s Eve saw Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) in EastEnders come to the realisation that he was abused by Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib), and New Year’s Day saw him bravely tell Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) about his past.
After Mick told Linda, he said how he didn’t want to report Katy to the police at risk of him not being believed, and soon, he makes his decision on whether to leave his situation how it is, or report his abuser.
Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) is going to visit the crematorium for the anniversary of her little brother Harry’s death, and she introduces Linda to Jed, Harry’s brother.
Jed explains that Harry’s dad never had anything to do with him but alarm bells start to ring for Linda.
Later, Mick tries to talk to Frankie, but she is still determined for him to not report her mother.
Mick watches Will (Freddie Phillips) play football, about the same age he was when he met Katy.
Mick comes to a conclusion, but knowing of the ordeal that’s ahead of him, will he tell the police about Katy?
