Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is hellbent on exacting revenge on Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in Coronation Street tonight (September 28), and therefore he takes drastic action in order to do so.
Daniel made an enemy of Geoff last week, when the latter popped by the solicitor’s office in an effort to find out some information about Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) case.
The young man proceeded to berate Geoff — calling him out for the way he treats sex workers. The abuser was fuming, but he soon found his attention elsewhere when he discovered that his money had vanished.
Viewers know that Daniel stole the cash, and subsequently gave it to Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) so that she could start a new life.
After accusing Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) of stealing his cash, Geoff decides to return to the source of the disappearance tonight, as he corners Adam Barlow (Samuel Roberson) and Daniel — informing telling them he is going to the police.
The abusive man reveals that he’s now certain that his money went missing from their office.
What’s more, his interest is later left piqued when he sees Nicky handing Daniel a wad of cash, as she reveals that she doesn’t need it all.
What happens next remains to be seen, but Daniel is later at the police station — and while there, he admits he gave Geoff’s money to Nicky.
Afterwards, the police pop round to No.6, where they inform Geoff that Daniel has confessed to the crime, and he is ready and willing to repay the money.
However, evil Geoff wants revenge, and therefore, he wants Daniel punished.
Will Daniel go to prison?
Coronation Street continues Monday September 28 at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
