Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is filled with rage and on a mission after it becomes clear that rapist Lee has no intention of making him scarce from Victoria Barton’s (Isabel Hodgins) life in Emmerdale. As he watches Lee from the shadows at his house, Robert is filled with murderous intent – but will he kill Lee in order to save Victoria from anymore agony? And with an exit storyline on the horizon, will this prove the end of the line for Robert?
Victoria is determined to leave the village with everything going on and arranges for an estate agent to visit Keepers Cottage so she can get the ball rolling and make her escape from the village. But, having learned that she is pregnant with Lee’s baby, Wendy soon turns up to confront Victoria again and leaves her terrified with her claim that Lee is going to go for custody of the baby.
Victoria is traumatised and left feeling more determined than ever to get away from the village – while Robert is angry that she is being driven out by the criminal who attacked her. As Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) has the idea that Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) could buy her out of the B&B so she could help Victoria financially, Robert has other plans.
He stalks Lee to his home and a plan is forming. This isn’t over and as Robert’s rage consumes him, there could be a deadly end in store for Lee.
How far will Robert go and will he regret his actions as he is once again pushed to the edge – perhaps for the last time?
