Lauren Holly took to Instagram on Tuesday to confirm she has tragically lost her father and her brother within two weeks. Best known for her role on CBS as NCIS director Jenny Shephard, the actress’ sad post was quickly flooded with comments from fans and followers sending their support to Lauren during this difficult time.

The former NCIS director was supported by her friends and fans after she confirmed the tragic deaths of her father and brother.

In her latest Instagram post, Lauren displayed a number of photos of her family members from over the years.

“I’ve lost my father and my brother in the last two weeks,” she wrote.

“I just want to say out loud how much I loved them. How much I will miss them.”

“Grant. Nick. Dad. Little Brother. Soar. Hold A. Et al.” (sic)

Grant and Nick were both involved in the showbiz industry; Lauren’s father was a screenwriter and professor, and her brother wrote for several TV shows.

The circumstances of their deaths are currently unclear, but it’s believed the actress lost her father first and then her brother.

Her post has since received over 4,000 likes from supportive fans, and several followers and famous friends took to the comments to send their condolences.
