Meghan Markle isnt a wicked witch as expert defends Coronation snub

Meghan Markle ‘will do something to distract’ from King Charles’s Coronation

Despite The Duke and Duchess of Sussex being invited to the historic event at the start of March, a decision was only recently confirmed on whether or not they’d be in attendance. Although Prince Harry will be there for the celebrations, his wife will remain in America. As Meghan faces backlash for staying in California, Robert insisted she isn’t the “wicked witch”.

Robert claimed it is Prince Harry who has changed since leaving the Royal Family, despite much of the backlash being aimed at Meghan.

Robert went on to insist Harry has been vocal about his fractured relationship with his father and older brother Prince William.

“At the end of the day, she’s probably a little scared to come here and get booed and picked on.
“It would become a tabloid issue, a major big issue that really would detract from the Coronation, so in a way, I think it’s a good decision for them.”
Despite Meghan’s snub, the biographer said Charles will no doubt be “thrilled” both his sons will be in attendance.
“It’s his moment of destiny and I think it’s right that both your sons are there as well as your wife Queen Camilla and I think he would’ve been very disappointed if Harry hadn’t turned up,” he told Kevin.

“Is there going to be relief? Yeah. I say in my book Catherine, Princess of Wales found it very difficult to do that ‘Fab Four’ walkabout and she confided that and the very fact that was awkward, awks, as they say, the young kids today, and I think that’d be the same for Queen Camilla really because at the end of the day, the women in the royal family… All these things with the women, it would really be quite a difficult place to go for Meghan.”
