LOVE Island viewers couldn't keep a straight face as Curtis repeatedly said "I'm sorry, Amy" last night after revealing she was his second choice in the recoupling.

The pair finally had a private chat with Curtis admitting Jourdan was the girl he fancied the most in the villa and that he realised there were problems with their relationship.

He desperately apologised but viewers found the repetition hilarious while others claimed he seemed disingenuous.

One wrote on Twitter: "‘I’m sorry Amy’ is on repeat in my head thank you Curtis #loveisland."

Another shared: "Curtis was like “I’m sorry amy??‍♂️??‍♂️ I’m sorry??‍♂️??‍♂️”??."

A third wrote: "Did anyone count how many times Curtis said I’m sorry ? #LoveIsland."

Someone else posted: "The way Curtis shouts I’m sorry Amy every 5 minutes kills me???."

As a fifth shared: "Curtis throwing out I'm sorry every five seconds just makes him look like he's not sorry and doesn't mean it at all ?

Viewers have also begged show bosses to help Amy after she wept about having “no future” following Curtis's betrayal.

The former air hostess was left heartbroken and in tears as Curtis admitted he wanted to recouple with Jourdan and told her there were issues in their relationship.

In hard to watch scenes, Amy learnt the truth about what Curtis had been up while she was in Casa Amor as they sat down for a chat after the explosive recoupling and while she initially remained strong she later cried as she admitted she was in love with him.

Breaking down in tears in the Beach Hut Amy declared: "I thought I'd met my first love and The One and it turns out I haven't.

"I'm someone's back-up plan yet again and he disrespected me in such a way.

"I wouldn't have ever looked at anyone else. He was my future and now I have nothing and he's taken that away from me."

The air stewardess was planning to tell Curtis she had fallen in love with him after being reunited for the first time since Casa Amor – but moments later had her heart broken.

In a dramatic showdown, Curtis told Amy: "I'm going to be completely truthful to you about everything.

"I pulled one of the girls for a chat and told her if recoupling was in half an hour I'd couple up with her.

"She said no, basically.

"I didn't want to touch you because I f***ed up, like really bad."

Amy replied: "So, she said no and you said 'alright, I'll go back Amy.'

"I fell in love with you and I get back to this.

"I never thought you would do this to me.

"You're the perfect man after all.

"Do you know how worthless this has made me feel? To know you didn't like me enough or respect me enough to be able to resist. It makes me feel like utter s**te."

Looking ashamed of himself, Curtis told the Beach Hut: "I messed up. I hurt her and have treated her very bad. I've been disrespectful."
