Love Island fans have jumped to Yewande Biala’s defence after she was booted out of the villa following last night’s recoupling.
It all rested on Danny Williams’ shoulders, who had to decide between staying with Yewande or testing the water with model Arabella Chi.
After picking Arabella, fans couldn’t help but slam Danny for his subtle dig at Yewande during his coupling speech.
Danny told his fellow contestants: “I think she’s very intelligent. I think we’ve connected on an intellectual level.
With Yewande being a scientist, and enrolling at university when she was 16, many viewers thought Arabella would be sent packing.
Now, fans have come up with their own theories blasting the Hull-born model for his savage dig at the Irish beauty.
He continued his speech by saying the girl brings “something to the villa that nobody else does” despite Arabella only entering the villa two days ago.
Many slammed ‘Dirty Danny’ for his hurtful speech, which could have been directed at either potential love interests.
One wrote: “Is it just me who thinks that Danny made a real low blow by starting his recoupling speech with ‘this girl in intelligent’?”
Another put: “Danny is an absolute clown for calling Arabella intelligent, when the longest word she has said in the villa is ‘Yewande’.”
“Wow the audacity for Danny to describe Arabella as intelligent and ‘brings something to the villa’ like? Literally not even a crumb of sauce,” a third raged.
With Danny sending Yewande home, and fans turning on the new couple, Danny may be on a flight home soon than he thinks…
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
