Love Island 2021 final reaction – Lillie FURIOUS that cheating Liam & Millie won & Liberty 'to become multi-millionaire'

LOVE Island fans spotted Liam's ex Lillie looking LIVID as he won the show with girlfriend Millie last night.

Lillie almost split the couple up when she turned the Welsh hunk's head during the show's Casa Amor twist.

And she looked less than impressed when they beat runners up Chloe and Toby to the £50k cash prize in yesterday's final.

It comes as Liberty Poole is set to 'become a multi-millionaire' – despite quitting the ITV2 show.

Experts predict the former waitress will eclipse the earning potential of winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

LAURA WHITMORE FANS DEFEND HOST AMID CALLS FOR HER TO BE REPLACED AS LOVE ISLAND HOST

People are defending Laura Whitmore on Twitter after calls to have her replaced as the host of Love Island.

One person explained: “Everyone wanting Laura Whitmore replaced but I remember before I even watched #LoveIsland all I would ever see on Twitter is people wanting Caroline Flack replaced? But now all I see is people saying she was the best host ever?”

Others have been saying there doesn’t need to be a designated Love Island ‘host’ since most of this year’s recouplings were delivered via the Islanders receiving texts.

    SILLY MILLIE

LOVE Island fans are livid after Millie Court decided to split the £50k cash prize with Liam Reardon instead of getting revenge for his Casa Amor betrayal.

The couple were crowned winners of the ITV2 show during Monday’s final, beating Chloe and Toby.

Seconds after the shock of winning, host Laura Whitmore asked them to pick up two gold envelopes each, one with a black heart on the front and one with a red.

One envelope contained the £50,000 prize, while the other had nothing.

Liam said Millie could choose first, and when she opened her red hearted envelope, it revealed the cash prize. Laura then asked Millie if she wanted to steal the money or split it with new boyfriend Liam, and she decided to split.

TYLER'S DAD SCOLDED HIM FOR DITCHING KAZ DURING CASA AMOR

Love Island fans say Tyler Cruickshank’s dad Andrew threw shade at Casa Amor bombshell Clarisse when he met Kaz last night in the villa.

Last night the remaining Islanders were finally reunited with their loved ones after a long eight weeks apart. Straight-talking Andrew scolded Tyler for ditching Kaz in Casa Amor.

His father told him: “It’s been hard to watch sometimes, do you know what I mean? Sometimes I’m shouting at the telly like: ‘Tyler man, come on!’

He added: “I don’t want to swear or anything, but I thought you messed up, mate. I was screaming at the telly: ‘What have you done?!’

“There’s no one come in from Casa who had anything on this girl. I thought, what are you doing? And for me, to see you being humbled… She humbled you.”

Laura said to Liam and Millie: “Well, you’ve already said the L-word, so boyfriend and girlfriend on the cards?

“You going to do a Chloe and Toby and get married? I don’t think Toby knows that yet.”

Millie replied: “I don’t know, we definitely will be one day, won’t we?”

The live audience went crazy as Liam turned to Millie, eventually saying “will you be my girlfriend”.

But the mania of the moment had fans convinced he was about to drop a bombshell.

…AND TOBY 3/1 FOR DANCING ON ICE

Toby Aromolaran could be set for a stint on Dancing On Ice, according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.

After finishing in second-place on this year's Love Island, the bookies have priced up Toby's next move, and it's just a 3/1 shot Dancing On Ice chiefs come calling in the next few weeks.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Toby wouldn't be the first Islander to swap the villa for a stint on the ice, and the latest odds suggest there's every chance he follows in the footsteps of Wes Nelson and Maura Higgins next series."

10/1 ITV AXE LOVE ISLAND NEXT YEAR, SAYS LADBROKES

Ladbrokes thinks it is unlikely Love Island will be axed next year, despite calls for ITV to call it a day.

As pressure mounts on ITV to shake up the Love Island formula at the very least, the bookies make it a 10/1 shot the show is axed and this year is the last it's seen on screen.

Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes said: "There's no denying Love Island is a pretty stale format these days with the same contestants entering the villa each year.

"However, it seems unlikely ITV will axe it altogether and we'll see in back on TV next summer."

MARY 'FRIENDZONED AARON LIVE ON AFTERSUN

Love Island fans have been left cringing after Mary “friendzoned” Aaron live on spin-off show After Sun.

The couple left the villa together after being dumped from the Island.

They appeared on Love Island: Aftersun where host Laura Whitmore pressed them on what’s next for their relationship.

But it was Mary who was quick to answer, saying Aaron was her “best friend”.

Replying to Laura she said: “I think we’re just gonna go home, when we’re back in the real world again and things are more normal we’re going to see how it goes, but I have definitely made a best friend in here.”

    CLAIMS OF RIGGED RESULTS

Twitter users are claiming tonight’s results were rigged and begged Love Island bosses to investigate.

One viewer said: “I don’t care, you cannot convince me that this show is not rigged. I could live with the fact Kaz and Tyler didn’t win but for Faye and Teddy to rank higher than them. I don’t trust it”

Former champ Amber Gill’s Twitter poll showed Faye and Teddy were the least voted for couple amongst her fans, adding to the conspiracy theory.

    A RIGHT SET UP?

Liam and Millie scooped the £50k jackpot last night and fans claimed they knew they would because of this one telling sign.

The theory worked last year for the first winter series of the show, which saw Finley Tapp and Paige Turley take home the £50k.

In previous years Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay,  Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey and Jess Hayes and Max Morley were all in the same position before being announced as the winners.

And the clue? Standing on the LEFT of the Love Island host.

Viewers looked back at past champions and predicted whoever stands on the presenter’s left during the big reveal will win.

She said she found the early days really tough when catching up with the show's host Laura Whitmore.

MILLIE AND LIAM ODDS-ON TO GET ENGAGED IN 2021

Leading bookmaker Coral makes it odds-on at 4-5 that Love Island winners Millie and Liam get engaged in 2021.

The firm makes it 2-1 that either of the pair are contestants on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2021, while it is 3-1 the couple go into the jungle together.

“Mille and Liam have been through many ups and downs in the villa but our betting suggests they will stay together and they could even get engaged before the year is out,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“The pair are in the betting to enter the I’m A Celeb jungle in 2021 and maybe they will go in there as the first ever Love Island couple to do so,” added Hill.

LOVE ISLAND CROWNS ITS 2021 WINNERS

Millie Court and Liam Reardon have been named winners of Love Island 2021.

The couple, who went into the final as favourites to win, beat fellow finalists Teddy Soares and Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank and Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran to win the £50,000 prize money.

After the result of the public vote was announced, the couple had to decide whether to stick or split the cash prize.

Millie received the envelope with the money but decided to split it with Liam – meaning they took home £25,000 each.

Laura Whitmore hosted the live final from the garden of the ITV2 show's Mallorcan villa while a cheering audience looked on.

WHAT WAS SAID DURING THE FINALIST'S LAST INTERVIEWS?

During their final interviews, Toby joked that describing his relationship with Chloe as a "massive journey" was an "understatement" after the pair broke up and then got back together during the series.

Teddy and Faye also recalled their journey in the villa during an interview with Whitmore, with Faye apologising for losing her temper during the Casa Amor period of the show, despite Teddy not straying romantically.

The final episode of the series, which featured nearly 40 islanders attempting to find love in the villa, also included clips of the finalists' last day together.

The finalists of Love Island read declarations of love to each other during their final night in the villa.

Four couples are competing to take home the £50,000 prize – Millie Court and Liam Reardon, Teddy Soares and Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank and Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran.

Laura Whitmore is hosting the live final from the garden of the Mallorcan villa while a cheering audience looks on.

During their final morning on the show, the finalists were woken by a text which announced they would be taking part in a salsa dance class ahead of the winners being announced that evening.

A second text told the female contestants they would be leaving the villa to visit a spa. The male contestants wrote declarations of love to their partners, with Toby worrying his letter would be "so soppy".

    FAYE WANTED TO QUIT

A surprise nugget of info that we hadn't known until last night was how much Faye wanted to throw in the towel on the ITV2 show.

"I didn’t want to be here. I wanted to go home. I hated it," she told Laura Whitmore in her final chat.

"I wanted to go home. I wanted to ring my mum and dad and say, 'Come and get me,' but it worked out for the best."

    'BLOOD BOILING'

Love Island fans are still fuming on Twitter after Kaz and Tyler came fourth last night and have accused the show of racism.

To the shock of many on social media, Kaz and Tyler came in fourth place ahead of the controversial Faye and her boyfriend Teddy.

Some labelled the show as 'anti-black', while others accused the result as being 'fixed.'

"The way my blood is boiling this night…" wrote one viewer on Twitter.

Another added: "Sadly we knew Kaz and Tyler weren’t gonna win. I will mark the day a black couple wins Love Island!"

A third commented: "Every single time a black woman has been on the show they have faced racism FOR LITERALLY JUST BEING ON THE SHOW. The love island producers do nothing to protect them from this. A recent example would be when kaz's instagram page was filled with racist comments…"
