Jordan branded a 'monster' by Love Island fans for putting an empty ice lolly box back in the freezer before Anna row

LOVE Island viewers branded Jordan a "monster" after he did the unforgivable and put an empty ice lolly packet back in the freezer in last night's show.

It came moments before the 24-year-old Islander sparked outrage for attempting to woo new girl India behind girlfriend Anna's back.

But it seemed Jordan already had viewers seething after they spotted him dumping the empty box in the freezer instead of throwing it in the bin.

Fans quickly claimed the careless move spoke volumes about his character as they slammed him on social media.

One viewer tweeted: "The thing that p***ed me off the most about Jordan tonight was him throwing that EMPTY ice lolly box back in the freezer!!  #LoveIsland."

Another chimed: "The fact jordan put an empty ice lolly box back in the freezer just says it all really #LoveIsland."

A third jibed: "that’s how you know jordan is TRASH. he put the empty ice lolly package back into the fridge #LoveIsland."

A further mocked: "Honestly i think the most disgusting thing jordan did tonight was chuck that empty lolly ice box back in the freezer #loveisland."

Last night's explosive episode saw Jordan go to war with girlfriend Anna after he tried to crack on with former Page 3 girl India behind her back.

Jordan's U-turn came as a shock to viewers as he told Curtis in a private conversation: “I feel like over the past couple of days I’ve been having good conversations with India.

“I’m finding myself looking forward to bumping into her in the villa to talk to her. It’s just made me sit back and think.”

But after Curtis told Maura Higgins, she fed the information back to Anna who then confronted Jordan and branded him "embarrassing" for chatting to India.

However, sources have since told The Sun that producers were behind Jordan's unforeseen change of heart.

A show source said: “Jordan was pushed into saying he likes India in order to cause drama after producers told him he doesn’t have a chance of winning with Anna.

“Now that Michael Griffiths has left and the ongoing tension between him and ex Amber Gill is over, they needed something explosive to happen for the final week.

“Anna is a fierce character and they knew she wasn’t going to just let it go quietly if Jordan started growing close to India, especially as they’ve only just become girlfriend and boyfriend. The move by producers has clearly worked but it proves this entire series is completely contrived.”

A Love Island spokesman said: “The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.”
