Im A Celeb viewers spot flaw as time error occurs during Naughty Boy trial

Naughty Boy was picked for the gruelling trial by I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers as the producer was made to share a box with various critters.

Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson joined him in the trial but sat on the sidelines and was forced to answer questions or risk being covered in an unknown substance – including slime and feathers, to name a few.

When Adam and Simon did get the answer right, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly told Naughty Boy that he would only need to endure 30 seconds of the animal or insect on a body part.

However, if they got the question wrong, it would be 60 seconds – but after the rules were shared, fans soon noticed a severe flaw.

Instead of removing the critters after 30 seconds, they still stayed on Naughty Boy's body parts through the duration of the trial.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "I don't get this trial… you have to endure 30 seconds of whatever. And they congratulate him… but then the things stay in there anyway."

Another said: "'You only have 30 seconds with these', and also another five minutes because they're not going anywhere…"

A third wrote: "Only 30 seconds? But they stayed there for the rest of the trial. Flawed time keeping."

Instead of removing the crawlies, snakes, rats and crabs galore from Naughty Boy, he had a top up after Adam and Simon answered a new question correctly.

However, despite Naughty Boy not getting the crawlies removed from him quite as promised, he still managed to successfully smash through the trial.

Naughty Boy landed all the stars up for grabs and managed to win an Emu egg for the entire team.

However, his love of the success was short-lived, as Naughty Boy has been selected for yet another trial in Thursday night's episode alongside Frankie Bridge.

The pair will be taking on Castle Scareoke, and as two of the music moguls in the camp, they're right where they should be – but like all else which happens on I'm A Celeb, it's unlikely that they won't have unwelcome visitors when they take part.

But will they take home all the stars?

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! resumes tomorrow on ITV at 10pm.
