Take Off With Bradley and Holly is back with a full season on BBC One and the first of four episodes will air on Saturday, July 24. The game show will see Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh reunite with members of the public as they compete for the chance to visit a dream holiday destination. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about how to apply to be on the show.
How to apply for Take Off With Bradley and Holly
Take Off With Bradley and Holly first aired as a Christmas special back in 2019 and it saw some lucky players win a trip to Lapland.
The series, hosted by This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and The Chase’s Bradley Walsh, went down a huge hit with viewers.
Now four hour-long episodes have been lined up and they will feature plenty of games and exciting surprises.
Fans will also get to hear some of the uplifting and inspirational stories behind the people taking part in the series.
The first episode will see contestants battle it out to win a trip to America, including LA and Vegas.
The second episode will see members of the public compete for an all-expenses-paid trip to St Lucia.
As for how to apply for the series, not much information has been given at this moment in time.
There is a mailing list online for fans to register their interest if they wish to join the audience.
Fans can find a form on www.sroaudiences.com, which says: “Although we have no details of further recordings of this show, if you would like to add your details to our mailing list here, we can email you with details of possible future recordings.
“To be informed when booking opens, which is usually a few weeks before recording, please complete IN FULL and submit the details below.
“We shall add you to our mailing list and can then contact you when booking opens with full details and the dates available so that you may apply for tickets.”
The series is filmed at BBC Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, but there has been no news of a season two yet.
Beonscreen.com had listed an advertisement for the original episode back in 2019, saying: “Do you or does someone you know deserve a festive surprise?
“We’re looking for fun, enthusiastic people to take part in a new entertainment show – with the ultimate festive prize of jetting off to Lapland. Whether you’d like to nominate yourself or someone else, we’re keen to hear from individuals, families and groups of friends.”
So this may be where fans need to head if they wish to apply for future seasons of the show.
Hopefully, more information on how to apply will come when the first full season starts airing.
More details should come to light by the time season one has finished, so there is not long for fans to wait.
The game show offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win some sought-after prizes.
A trailer for the series has been released and it shows Bradley embracing the fake aeroplane set-up.
He informs the guests: “This is your captain speaking”, before reminding them: “Two questions right and you’re on the flight, two questions wrong and you’re gone.”
There are some side-splitting moments in store as Holly and Bradley experience some hilarious blunders.
Bradley is seen getting his foot stuck in a bar stool and Holly is left to help set him free, as fans watch on in fits of laughter.
This is just one of many joyous moments to come and the new series is expected to provide some much-needed escapism.
With many viewers unable to jet off to their dream destination this year, the game show will act as a consolation.
Take Off With Bradley And Holly starts on Saturday, July 24 at 6pm on BBC One.
