LAUREN Harris stunned fans when she made an appearance on Channel 4's Naked Attraction and threw a major tantrum on the show.
The TV star was devastated when a fellow contestant deemed her to be "too old" for his liking, prompting her to throw a fit before storming off the set. Here's all you need to know…
Who is Lauren Harries, how old is she and what's her background?
Lauren, 41, was born James Charles Harries in Surrey in 1978 and was the youngest of three children.
Her father, Mark Harries, worked in the hotel business and catering trade.
The family moved to Cardiff when Harries was still a baby and from the age of five, she enjoyed art and antiques, and had an apparent ability to spot bargains at local jumble sales.
Lauren began making TV appearances in 1988 on Terry Wogan's UK chat show, Wogan when she was just 10-years-old.
Harries was memorable to viewers for her odd appearance including the use of bow ties, curly golden hair and formal attire.
At the young age of 13, she wrote an antique guide, Rags to Riches.
As Lauren grew up, she believed she was gay, but by her early 20s she identified as transgender.
She started cross dressing in 1997 and in 2001, at the age of 23 underwent gender reassignment surgery.
Why did Lauren Harries throw a tantrum on Naked Attraction?
Lauren stunned fans when she made a surprise appearance on Channel 4's Naked Attraction on August 28.
What's more, the famous blonde threw a tantrum when she wasn't selected by fellow contestant Rigby after baring all in an attempt to find love.
Rigby stressed that his reason for not choosing Lauren was simply down to the fact that he was looking for something permanent "and I just think you might be a little bit too old for me."
The snub left Lauren furious as she rolled her eyes and threw a hissy fit as she stormed off the set.
After refusing to give Rigby a hug, the British television personality gushed: "You could have had the goods but you are not having them now.
"You're not going to get my backside now."
And while that appeared to have been the end of it, Lauren chimed in with another dig, saying: "I'm going, I don't want to be around him. Never talk to a woman about age, make up something."
She added: "You will be slapping yourself when you know who I am."
When host Anna Richardson asked for Lauren to explain her claim to fame to Rigby, it almost seemed as if she struggled to gather an actual answer.
She responded, saying: "Well, I'm on here…
"I am a singer, I go on stage a lot, and obviously I am well known for being who I am."
Who is Lauren Harries' ex-boyfriend Bruce Hills?
Bruce Hills is a transgender dental hygienist and had started dating Lauren since February 2018.
The couple met on Twitter and went public with their relationship just two days after meeting in person.
Lauren posted a snap of them together on Instagram (@laurenharriesofficial) referring to him as her "Prince Charming."
The pair also attended Lauren's brother's wedding at Cardiff Castle where he met her family.
Two months after making things official, Lauren was believed to have dumped Bruce as he took to Instagram with a very telling post.
It read: "How strange to be told that someone loves you, they just don't love you "enough."'
Bruce continued to vent his thoughts, adding: "Can anyone define what enough love is? Because I'm totally confused."
Their breakup also appeared to have prompted Lauren to join Channel 4's Naked Attraction.
Her previous love interest was 22 year old Connor Yemm from Nottingham who also met Lauren through Twitter.
When was Lauren Harries on Celebrity Big Brother?
Lauren went on the show in 2013 and she teased fans about her comeback, taking a cosy selfie with Rylan Clark at Elstree Studios in London where they film the show.
She finished in third place in the twelfth series in 2013.
Lauren hit the headlines after her stint in the CBB house for claiming that in 2006 she'd slept with comedian Russell Brand.
Russell later denied their relationship, saying, “Lauren’s claims are as fraudulent as her evaluation of Ming vases on Wogan."
What other TV shows has Lauren Harries been on?
In 2018 Lauren appeared on a celebrity edition of Jeremy Kyle where she got into a screaming match with former friend Lisa Appleton over a holiday in Benidorm.
