If you’re a Pixar fan, then you know that hidden easter eggs are pretty much a staple in all of their films.
And Toy Story 4 is no different! When BuzzFeed went to Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, California to check out the making of the movie, Director Josh Cooley revealed that there are more easter eggs in it than any other Pixar film ever.
Here’s a running list of easter eggs from the film:
1.The iconic Pizza Planet truck:
Where: It’s a tattoo on a carnival worker’s ankle!
2.Goggles from Finding Nemo and a Casey Jr. Cookie box from A Bug’s Life:
Where: the antique store.
3.The grape soda/Ellie badge from Up:
Where: the park where Bo and her sheep are looking for treasures while foraging.
4.The Luxo ball from Pixar’s short Luxo Jr.:
Where: The ball can be seen as decal stickers on toys at the carnival (it can also be seen when the toys look into the antique store from the ceiling).
5.The guitars from Coco:
Where: the carnival.
6.Strut Jetstream from Cars:
Where: a ride at the carnival is named after him.
7.Tin Toy from the original Pixar short:
Where: the antique store (specifically in the arcade game).
8.Anton from Ratatouille:
Where: In Bonnie’s classroom, there’s apparently student cubby box that says “Anton” on it.
9.Boo from Monster’s Inc.:
Where: OK, this one isn’t official, but people think that Boo can be seen as one of the students in Bonnie’s classroom!
10.A RMRF97 license plate, which is a reference to the command code that once accidentally deleted Toy Story 2 from the Pixar computers:
Where: on the back of the car that picks up Bo in the beginning of the movie.
11.The Tiki heads from Finding Nemo:
Where: the antique store (specifically the arcade game).
12.Bing Bong’s rocket:
Where: the antique store.
13.A giant Mickey watch:
Where: a flashback to Andy’s room.
14.A painting of Riley’s Dad from Inside Out as a conquistador:
Where: the antique store.
15.A painting of the dogs from Up playing poker (as well as call-outs to Pixar’s address!):
Where: the antique store.
16.Merida’s bow from Brave:
Where: the antique store.
17.An antique model of the Eiffel Tower from Ratatouille:
Where: the antique store.
18.Tripledent chewing gum from Inside Out:
Where: It appears as a vintage ad in the antique store.
19.Poultry Palace from the Toy Story short Small Fry:
Where: the antique store.
20.A record of “Remember Me” from Coco:
Where: the antique store.
21.A black-and-white portrait of Geri from Geri’s Game:
Where: the antique store.
