Laura Tobin brutally ordered Richard Bacon to be quiet as he interrupted her weather report on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain.

The meteorologist had just begun going through the day’s forecast when she was forced to tell the presenter to stop making noise.

‘Richard, Richard,’ Laura said, before shushing him. ‘Thank you, I’m in the middle of the weather. How rude!’

The camera then panned to Richard, who dramatically covered his mouth with his hand and apologised sheepishly.

Laura eventually pressed on.‘There’s a lot of weather to hear about now it’s quiet,’ she continued.

Viewers sided with Laura over the interruption, with one fuming on Twitter: ‘Richard Bacon SHUTTUP! so rude talking through the weather.

‘Laura was very patient and polite with you. You’re not on Blue Peter now…you’re among the grown ups. Act accordingly.’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another blasted: ‘In all seriousness can someone tell Richard and others to shut up when Laura is telling us the weather.

‘All we can hear is banging about and loud talking in the studio. First time warning, second time is just rude!’

Laura later addressed the disturbance on social media, telling her followers: ‘Naughty @richardpbacon talking during my weather forecast. He was then good and paid full attention.’

Richard was back on Good Morning Britain on Thursday alongside co-host Kate Garraway.

The pair were joined by an array of guests, including sisters Linda and Anne Nolan, who are both battling cancer.

‘It made us stronger while we were having our chemotherapy,’ Anne told the presenters.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
