Gemma Collins says she saved James Argent's life three times – but never got a thank you

GEMMA Collins says she saved her ex-boyfriend James Argent from death three times – but he never even thanked her.

The 40-year-old revealed his lack of gratitude as she helped him with his cocaine addiction led to her calling time on their on/off romance for good.

Asked how she found the ‘strength to walk away’, Gemma told The Sunday Times: “I saved him from death three times, never got a thank you.”

She went on to say she saved him “loads of times” and recalled: “I was filming Dancing on Ice and I’d had a phone call, and they said no one had been able to get hold of him.

“I just knew instinctively to ring an ambulance. I’d had a lovely day, all of a sudden the stomach’s churning … I arrive at Whipps Cross Hospital, see him in a state. In that room, looking at him, thinking, I’ve got to go and film again tomorrow, this is too much!

"The next day he’d discharged himself. Thought he doesn’t want the help.”

Gemma added: “You can’t go out with an addict.”

Arg, 34, revealed he was struggling with cocaine addiction back in 2020 – and admitted he had suffered two near-fatal overdoses at home.

He said he had been a heavy user for seven years and revealed that Gemma had had to call an ambulance to his home on two occasions.

The star is now sober and is healthier than ever after undergoing gastric band surgery.

Gemma meanwhile is now re-engaged to her other ex, Rami Hawash.
