Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt’s life hangs in the balance after Tracy attack

Emmerdale fans will see Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) rushed to hospital in dramatic scenes aired tonight.

Viewers of the ITV soap witnessed a tense showdown between Kerry and Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) at the end of last night's episode.

Emmerdale cast member Kerry suffered a serious head injury after she was shoved to the ground and hit her head on bricks.

In tonight's visit to the Dales, Kerry's daughter Amy (Natalie ann Jamieson) is seen crying over her mum's unresponsive body.

As Amy worries over her mum's condition, Tracy is concerned that she could have killed her housemate.

As Kerry is rushed to the A&E, Tracy waits anxiously to hear some news in the village.

When Vanessa and Charity pay a visit, Tracy reveals all about her dramatic argument from Kerry and Amy's confessing their involvement over Frank's death to the moment when things got out of hand.

Although Charity and Vanessa are gobsmacked to hear about the deceit, they're also concerned that Tracy could have gone too far.

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that Kerry's drama will continue into next week leaving Tracy in turmoil.

Vanessa also lands herself in trouble in upcoming scenes as she struggles to deal with her anger.

Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa, recently said: "Tracy had stood by Frank's innocence for so long and that was tearing her apart from Vanessa. The truth comes as the biggest blow for Vanessa – she feels gutted and hurt.

"It's also a shock to know that it was Kerry and Amy – two people who'd come into their lives even more after the fire. They befriended Vanessa and Tracy to ease their guilt. It's sickening deception and the lowest of the low."

Kerry and Amy accidentally started the devastating blaze at the Sharma factory that claimed Frank’s life earlier this year.

The women were trying to destroy CCTV footage of Kerry stealing from the safe.

She took the money to pay off a debt Amy owed from her time in Belfast, but things took a very long turn when fire swept through the building.

Frank has been blamed for the fire as he had been sacked by Jai Sharma earlier that day.

Tracy has been trying to prove his innocence but recently came to the conclusion that he was responsible after all.

Fans of the soap will have to wait to see if Kerry pulls through.
