EastEnders pictures – devastating death news and two major returns

Fancy a look a next week’s EastEnders? The BBC One soap lines up another action-packed week for the residents of the Square, with big showdowns and shock discoveries on the cards.

With the boxing match having been set in motion, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is getting ready to square off with Martin Fowler (James Bye), much to Phil’s (Steve McFadden) joy and Callum Highway’s (Tony Clay) horror.

The mechanic, however, is in for a big shock, as a plain-clothed police officer approaches him and reveals that Lewis Butler (Aidan O’Callaghan) has been arrested for rape again.

Callum, knowing about Lewis, begs Ben to reconsider taking part in the boxing match, but Ben’s mind is made up as he heads to the ring, full of pent-up rage.

Zack Hudson (James Farrar), meanwhile, is excited about getting a flat with Whitney Dean (Shona Mcgarty) and trying for another baby when his viral load comes down, but Whitney is blindsided by it all.

Ben later antagonises Zack in the Vic, accusing him of being a coward for refusing to fight him, which leads Zack to tell the entire pub that he dropped out of the brawl because he’s HIV Positive.

Elsewhere, Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) tells Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that he wants to get Albi christened and is willing to pay for the whole thing, despite serious money concerns.

Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) continues to offer up her unwanted opinion over her son’s relationship with Sharon, but Keanu pushes forward with the christening plans, with his attention soon moving to the dodgy world that Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) operates in.

This isn’t going to end well, is it?

EastEnders airs these scenes w/c Monday April 24 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
