EastEnders original Dotty Cotton Molly Conlin stuns fans with bikini selfie in the heatwave

EASTENDERS' original Dotty Cotton actress Molly Conlin today stunned fans with a bikini selfie in the heatwave.

The former soap star, 19, looked incredible in a butterfly two-piece as she soaked up the last of the British summer sunshine.

Since leaving EastEnders, Molly has become an Instagram star with 24,000 followers.

She regularly posts sexy selfies, and today was no different.

Taking to Instagram she posted two pics of herself in the garden enjoying the sun.

She wrote next to one of the snaps: "I like butterfly’s if you haven’t noticed already 🦋"

Her followers were quick to show their appreciation with one commenting: "Just amazing."

While this one said: "Beautiful xx"

Another wrote: "On another level."

Molly shot to fame playing Dotty Cotton, who was the daughter of villain Nick Cotton and granddaughter of Dot.

The actress was just seven when she first appeared on the show in 2008.

Speaking about her casting at the time, Molly told Daily Gazette: "I'm really excited about it because I have always wanted to be in EastEnders."

She left the show in 2010, and last year revealed how said she was "very upset" the show recast her role.

Molly said she was approached by soap bosses over the return of her character, but only to explain why she wasn’t being brought back.

She exclusively told The Sun Online: "They did approach me, unfortunately they wanted the new Dotty to go back and appear a lot older and be played by someone in their 20s.

"Of course I would have loved to have returned to EastEnders, but I believe everything happens for a reason."

Instead, actress Milly Zero now plays the role as Dotty.

Meanwhile, earlier this summer Molly found herself back in the headlines.

It was after she revealed how her family home was raided by robbers wielding knifes.

Molly claims she was then shoved to the ground and dragged upstairs where she was threatened with the knife as her house in Witham, Essex.

The terrified teen said she was left fearing for her life as the men stole her brother's black Audi A1 and snatched a mobile phone and watch.

Molly says her phone was later found nearby as she urged her fans to be careful and lock their front doors.
