LYDIA Chambers' revenge turns potentially deadly following a brutal confrontation with Adam Barlow.
Coming up in Coronation Street, the solicitor is on the verge of losing his eyesight after fighting with his former girlfriend.
For weeks, Adam (played by actor Sam Robertson) has been the target of a horrifying hate campaign instigated by Lydia (Rebecca Ryan).
With fraudulent receipts and fake messages, the Underworld PA has managed to convince Adam's wife Sarah (Tina O'Brien) they were having an affair.
This has led to Adam losing everything and as he sees his world crumble, he vows revenge on Lydia, determined to expose her scheming.
Next week, Adam gets a small glimmer of hope when Sarah invites him to celebrate her son Harry's birthday.
However, he is shocked when she tells him she has filed for divorce.
Fed up of being made out to be the bad guy, Adam texts Lydia from Sarah's phone as the latter is distracted.
