Strictly Come Dancing’s presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly have become renowned for their glamorous outfit choices on the BBC One show. However, Claudia’s skin-tight leopard print trousers paired with leopard print heels and a black blouse became a major distraction for viewers on Sunday night.
Tess, 52, wore a fitted, strapless, black dress to host Sunday night’s result show, while Claudia, 49, opted for a statement animal print outfit.
Strictly fans naturally took to Twitter to discuss how the host’s bold wardrobe choice was distracting them from the show, with some comparing her to rocker Rod Stewart.
David Lane quipped: “Just realised Claudia Winkleman tonight looks like Kenny Everett in his Rod Stewart sketch.”
Sara Cate agreed: “Those leopard print trousers of Claudia’s remind me of when Kenny Everett impersonated Rod Stuart years ago. He wore leopard print trousers and his bottom grew and grew in size until he eventually floated up to the ceiling…”
Karl Newby asked: “Right, why is Claudia Winkleman’s blouse tucked in at the front but hanging out at the back?”
Alex added: “Really Claudia? Leopard print jeggings?”
Adam Grant joked: “Claudia is channelling her inner tiger tonight.”
Karen Renton quipped: “Claudia’s got a leopard print heart on her crotch and I can’t stop looking at it. That’s not right.”
In spite of receiving backlash for her outfit, many viewers praised the presenter’s vibrant clothing choice, with dozens tweeting the star to ask where she bought the animal print trousers from.
The outfit itself was a more relaxed looking number than Saturday’s black glittery dress which also caused a stir with viewers.
Claudia made headlines on Saturday when her £59.99 sparkly sequinned Zara dress, styled by Sinead McKeefry, was widely panned by fans online.
Viewers had a lot to say about the spaghetti-strapped ensemble and compared it to all manner of things, including a shower curtain.

Strictly fans will have to wait until next weekend to see what eye-catching outfit Claudia will wear next.
This Sunday, Ugo Monye and professional dance partner Oti Mabuse were the fourth couple to be eliminated after landing themselves in the dreaded dance-off.
Ugo, who missed last weekend’s show following a back injury, competed against presenter Rhys Stephenson in the dance-off.
Ugo and Oti performed their Rumba to Leave The Door Open by Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak and Silk Sonic, but the judges chose to save Rhys and pro partner Nancy Xu.
After being booted off the show, Ugo thanked Oti for “putting up with me” over the past month.
He said: “There are lots of people that I would love to say thank you to. Oti, firstly, just for putting up with me. She said she wanted a challenge and she got one!”
Oti added: “Seeing you through your injury, I appreciate every single moment that you’ve given to me. I am grateful for the show.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 7.10pm for Halloween week on BBC One with previous episodes on BBC iPlayer.
