CAROL Vorderman says she has FIVE boyfriends "on rotation", admitting: "I'm having the best time."

The 62-year-old has opened up about her love life – and her candid confession about having polyamorous relationships.

Carol has spent the past ten years dating one than one person at a time, but insists she never has one night stands.

Instead she has spoken out about choosing against monogamy in hopes of ending the "derogatory judgement".

Asked if she's in a relationship, Carol told Michelle Visage's latest Rule Breakers podcast: "No! I'm having the best time. I've spoken about this once.

"I have a system which I've had for 10 years. They're called 'special friends'.

'I spoke a couple of months ago about having 'special friends' and it was like, again, the world had fallen in for some people but actually what I found was there was an awful lot of women who said 'I'd never thought about it like this'.

"This whole assumption: 'Have you got a partner yet? Have you got a man?' Well, no actually I've got five'."

Carol has dated one of her boyfriends for 11 years, while another one she's been involved with for seven.

She continued: "You know, everyone is single. It's a happy place. I hasten to add I'm not into one night stands.

"Everything was derogatory about a woman, that was the environment I was growing up in. It was like 'she's desperate', everything was judgmental."
