BGT star would love to make a comeback and land golden buzzer with unusual act

Britain's Got Talent star Nathan Wyburn impressed the judges in one fail swoop as the artist created his own images with weird and wonderful mediums.

During his time on the show Nathan used multiple household items to create his images – and in his most recent twist, he decided to use McVitie's biscuits instead.

It's no surprise Nathan was popular on the show as he targeted the judges as his muse for the creations, but as shake-ups have continued throughout the series, there's one thing he's said he had to miss.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Nathan said he would have "loved" to get the Golden Buzzer.

He added: "When they did the show where they brought back previous popular contestants that was great. I would love the opportunity to show myself in a more confident way – I was quite shy back then.

"I think the best thing about the show now is the Golden Buzzer, there wasn't one when I was on there and I think, because I created a portrait of Michael McIntyre who was a judge at the time, I maybe would have got the golden buzzer."

However, keeping in line with BGT, Nathan decided to make an image of Alesha Dixon as she wasn't on the panel during his time on the show – and he has said that is his "golden buzzer" moment.

He added: "It's a nice little touch that I didn't quite get back then."

Nathan's special project took over three days to complete as he created a masterpiece using over 600 biscuits including McVitie's Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs and Rich Teas.

He used a mosaic technique to create Alesha's features from a mix of full biscuit and broken pieces with the entire project commissioned as part of McVitie's Golden Moments campaign.

Ahead of the campaign Nathan said: "The best part of making art like this is getting to work with your favourite snacks and treats… and who doesn’t love a biscuit!? I loved being on the show all those years ago, so I jumped at the chance to work on creating this bespoke artwork of the beautiful Alesha Dixon – she can now enjoy being celebrated in delicious McVitie’s biscuits!"

Alesha was also happy to be the muse as she said she's been a fan of the star since he first auditioned in 2011.

Exclusive Golden Moments packets of McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs and Jaffa Cakes will be available in major retailers across the UK.

Britain's Got Talent Final airs tonight on ITV at 7.30pm
