BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent left Jon Kay red-faced with a swipe at his makeup in the middle of an interview.
The pair were side by side on the red sofa again today as they covered the latest news and events.
Midway through the show, they were joined by Young Masterchef 2023 winner Keziah Whittaker and her mum to discuss her recent triumph.
Keziah admitted she "wasn't prepared for that scenario at all" when it came to winning.
But pointing at the trophy on the table in front of her, Jon said: "Well there's the proof, in front of you!
"You've got the trophy, that wonderful trophy. Congratulations! It's great to see that smile."

He continued: "And you talked about, you've got special anti, erm, what's it called? Mascara that doesn't run?"
Keziah and Sally both said: "Waterproof!" as Jon claimed not to know.
Sally then asked cheekily: "Is that not what you're wearing?"
Looking a bit pink, Jon replied: "No it's not! Or, I don't know?" before turning back to Keziah and saying: "But it paid off, right?"

She replied: "Definitely, because the tears just didn't stop. Every time I look at that video it's like I'm reliving the moment all over again. I get so emotional."
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast viewers were also distracted by Sally's outfit.
The 52-year-old wore a striking purple trouser suit and frilly white blouse underneath, and it left some at home comparing her to late pop star, Prince.
One wrote: "@sallynugent totally rocking the Prince colours! this morning on @BBCBreakfast."
Another added: "I thought Sallys outfit looked familiar. When you're reading the news at 8 but got to sing Purple Rain at 9."
A third tweeted: "Prince vibes on the #BBCBreakfast sofa this morning."
