The talented star accompanied her outfit with a pair of white combat boots and a pink fedora to match her suit.
Lucy's transformed blonde hair fell in sleek tresses past her shoulders as she lounged on the staircase.
Captioning the picture to show her 169k Instagram followers, Lucy wrote: "Behind every picture of me looking serious is a picture of me laughing because I feel like a t***".
Lucy tagged the location as swanky Manchester hotel King Street Townhouse.
Fans flocked to the singer-songwriter's page to comment on her new look, with one writing: "Obsessed with this look Luc!" alongside several red love heart emojis.

Lucy shot to fame in the singing competition X Factor back in 2012.
However, she had to pull out of the competition due to illness, ultimately finishing ninth in the series.
Despite having to quit X Factor, Lucy has had a hugely successful career since.
She has released five studio albums, with her latest release Choices hitting number five in the UK charts earlier this year.
Lucy is set to tour the UK later this year in support of her latest album.
It comes as Lucy teased a new music video from her latest record.
Tagging the same location in Manchester, Lucy could be seen wearing a two-piece checked suit and black boots for the look.
She posted to her followers: "Maybe filmed a music video today."
She has yet to announce which single the video will be for.
