Susan Sarandon has been sporting a painful black eye after encountering a horrific fall last week.
The 73-year-old actress posted on her Instagram page that she was suffering from concussion, a fractured nose and an injured knee.
Her accident occurred last week, resulting in the Hollywood legend pulling out of plans to campaign promoting presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
The actress posted a snap with a large bump on her head which went on to turn into a black eye.

Captioning the snap, Susan said: "A little slip = concussion, fractured nose, banged-up knee.
"So, looks like I won't be able to meet the folks in New Hampshire with Senator Sanders tomorrow. I'm really sorry I'll miss that opportunity."
On Monday, the legend shared another snap to show her black eye had deteriorated.

The bruise on her face was bright purple and surrounded her left eye.
In the later pst, the actress praised her healthcare coverage as she made a political point in support of pal Bernie Sanders who is running as the Democratic nominee for the US Presidency.
She wrote: "I'm so lucky. I have Medicare to cover my visit to ER.

She went on to add: "You know, like the rest of the free world. #bernie2020."
Susan supported Bernie Sanders in the run up to the 2016 and has continued to support him in the run up to the 2020 election.
The star refused to vote for Hilary Clinton after Bernie lost the nomination to her in the last election.
