Amazon is attempting to outdo itself again for this year’s Prime Day. Prime Day 2019 (now two days long–July 15th and 16th) will feature a concert with music from SZA, Dua Lipa, and Becky G. The headliner will be none other than Taylor Swift, who’s set to perform her new singles “You Need to Calm Down” and “Me!” According to Amazon, “Me!” broke records as the biggest single debut of any song in the history of Amazon Music. Billboard says we can expect to hear new tunes from “Lover” as well.
This isn’t the first time Amazon has hosted a concert in honor of Prime Day. Last year, Ariana Grande headlined the Amazon Music Prime Day concert in New York. Grande performed a selection of songs from her then-upcoming album, “Sweetener.” Other artists included were Kelsea Ballerini, Alessia Cara, and Julia Michaels. It’s no wonder Swift was chosen to headline this year since there’s so much hype around her new album, “Lover.”
How to live stream Taylor Swift’s Amazon Prime Day concert
If this sounds like an exclusive event, it’s not. At least for Prime members. The performances will be streamed live via Prime Video on July 10th at 9 PM ET. Amazon says subscribers from 200 countries will tune in for the show. Not available at that time? No worries. The stream will be available after its live debut for a “limited time,” according to Engadget. Amazon Primers will also get access to exclusive teasers for Jack Ryan, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Carnival Row, The Boys, and Undone.
In the meantime, if you ask Alexa to “play the Prime Day Concert playlist,” you’ll hear a selection of songs from the featured artists. Once the show starts, Alexa will begin playing the live stream.
Prime members will also be offered the Amazon Music Unlimited subscription service deal that costs 99 cents a month for the first four months.

“We can’t wait to celebrate Prime Day with an extraordinary night of unforgettable performances, for members around the globe,” said Steve Boom, VP of Amazon Music, in a statement. “Prime Day brings members the best of both entertainment and shopping. To celebrate, we’ve curated a lineup across multiple genres with performances from artists our customers love. We’re looking forward to celebrating Prime Day with this can’t-miss, one-of-a-kind event,” he added.
Swifties are stoked, thankful they have Amazon Prime accounts
