Love Island stars Jess Shears and Dom Lever first met in the infamous Spanish villa back in 2017, and despite all the odds, the pair are one of the longest standing relationships from the show to date.

Since they left the villa, their whirlwind romance kept moving at a break-neck speed after they moved in together in a stunning family home in Devon where Jess is originally from.

The happy couple have since gone from strength to strength and even tied the knot during a secret wedding on the Greek island of Mykonos just one year later.

The love birds kept the celebration small with only 22 guests on the invite list, but as Dom said at the time: “When you meet the right person, there’s no need to hang around.”

In October 2019, Jess, 28, and Dom, 30, welcomed their first child together whose name they have yet to reveal, however it took Jess 18 months to lose the baby weight.

The blonde bombshell has since spoken out about how the added baby weight made her feel in a lengthy Instagram post.

She told her loyal legion of fans: “It’s taken me over a year and a half to get down to pre-baby weight. I mean I’ve not really tried that hard (I love food way too much).

“Although the number might be the same my body is far from it. Everything has sagged a little, I’ve not got the same waist I did before, I've got stretch marks and loads of cellulite in places it wasn’t before but you know what I'm ok with that.”

But now the doting dad has revealed the couple are ready to start trying for another baby in an exclusive chat with the Daily Star.

When asked if there could be another baby on the way soon, the Manchester-native quickly answered: “Yes, for sure.

“I think the sooner the better is all I can say," he explained.

"My son is almost two now so it’s at that age gap where the sooner the better.

“I don’t want him to be too old and I don’t want the gap to be too big. I think life is a little bit easier when they’re close together.”

The reality stars are also in the process of renovating their new house in Devon which they purchased during lockdown last year.

Dom explained: “We’re actually renovating a house as well and I feel like I'm burning the candle at both ends.

“God bless Jess, she’s given me free rein, she said, ‘You train as much as you need to train whether that’s three or four hours a day. Just do what you’ve got to do.'”

As the coronavirus restrictions gradually began to ease, Jess has finally been able to make headway on their dream home before the pair try for their second baby.

But it appears the head-strong mum-of-one has a very specific plan for the new pad as her husband explained he has little input in terms of renovation and decoration.

He joked: “I wouldn’t call it free rein. She’s like a dictatorship when it comes to the house, she’s like, ‘Whatever Jess says, goes.’

“[I’m] not agreeing on nothing. I literally get told what to do and that’s it, but a happy wife is a happy life isn’t it? So as long as I get to box and train hard, Jess can do whatever she likes with the house.”

Dom Lever chatted as he joined a host of well-known reality TV stars at Boxstar Celebrity Boxing Press Conference on Thursday at The AO Arena, Manchester.
