Lauren Goodger has shared a heartbreaking family loss – revealing to fans “heaven takes another angel".

The 36-year-old former TOWIE star has already faced heartache over the last year as she lost her baby Lorena just minutes after giving birth in July.

And now, Lauren has issued a heartbreaking statement to fans telling them “heaven has taken another Angel.”

Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday (April 17) Lauren revealed she had said goodbye to her grandfather, Ken, in a funeral service.

She posted two sweet snaps alongside her late grandad as they spent time together during her childhood in Essex.

Lauren captioned the post: “RIP grandad Ken," with a white heart emoji over the two throwback snaps, before following up with a touching tribute.

“Today we said goodbye to grandad Ken, was a beautiful send off for you," she wrote under a snap of a white cloud staircase.

"Thoughts are with family today, and very proud of all the childhood memories I have with you. Heaven takes another angel."

In 2022 Lauren revealed baby daughter Lorena passed away shortly after being welcomed into the world.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: "She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x …

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth to for my angel to be taken from me."

She continued: "There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar…

“I am broken. I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

Lauren is also a proud mum to one-year-old Larose, who she shares with ex Charles Drury.

The TV personality also experienced the passing of her ex-boyfriend Jake Mclean who died in July after his car plunged into a ravine in Turkey.
