Kevin Hart’s spine ‘broken in three places’ after horror crash

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart recently left fans terrified following the news that he’d been involved in a horrific car accident.

The Night School star is currently being treated in a Los Angeles hospital following the accident.

But since the crash, the extent of his injuries has been unknown until now.

The 40-year-old actor has fractured his spine in three places following the tragic accident on Malibu’s Mulholland Highway.

His car, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda he bought as a present for himself, was completely destroyed in the crash.

The actor underwent surgery on Sunday night in Los Angeles, which fused the fractures.

TMZ reported that there were two in the thoracic part of the stars spine, along with one in the lumbar.

With the surgery being a success, sources have told the site that Hart is “going through hell” and will be heavily medicated for some time.

However, there was a moment of worry around the lumbar fracture as it can make walking difficult and could lead to paralysis.

Thankfully, Hart is expected to make a full recovery. Following the incident, Hart’s team had in fact taken the actor home rather than a hospital as the full extent of his injuries were not clear.

In an audio clip from the 911 call, a female said he was “not coherent at all.”

Later, the woman added that the actor couldn’t move but insisted he was breathing.
