Jason Manford blasts selfish Brits panic-buying fuel after being stuck at gig

Jason Manford has blasted 'selfish' Brits who are panic-buying fuel after revealing he was left stuck after a gig.

The comedian, 40, revealed in a now-deleted tweet that he had been left stranded in London amid the supposed 'fuel crisis', which was sparked by reports that some BP chains were running low on fuel due to a HGV driver shortage in the UK.

Petrol garages across the country have since been inundated with drivers, with some stations forced to close and turn customers away after being emptied of fuel.

Posting to Twitter, Jason blasted the "selfish" panic-buyers who left him stranded after a gig in London over the weekend.

Jason has since deleted the tweet.

Rylan wrote: "I've been through enough this year, really don't need this petrol drought to make a sly trip to the M&S garage at midnight in a dressing gown taken away from me tbh."
