Carol Vorderman feels sick as Matt Hancocks fan club brand him daddy

Carol Vorderman has revealed she felt "sick in her throat" as Matt Hancock was branded "hot" following his topless shower scene.

The controversial MP was seen stripping down in the I’m A Celeb jungle and appears to have won over an army of fans on social media.

A number of accounts have been set up in his name, including Hot Matt Hancock, Matt Hancock Is A Fittie and We Love Matt Hancock.

Former jungle contestant Carol, 61, joined the This Morning panel to discuss the new wave of fans leaping to the defence of the former health secretary.

She didn't hold back when she was shown TikTok accounts praising Matt, including one named Matt Hancock Daddy.

The account branded the politician as "hot" as fans of the ITV show took to the comments to gush over his shower scene.

Reacting to the messages, Carol said she was "sick in her throat" at the thought viewers of anyone being attracted to Matt.

"There's a little bit of sick in my throat when I think about that," she said of the shower scene.

"Nope, we can move on; I mean, each to their own but, no."

"There is a line that has been crossed some would say," This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby chimed in to agree.

Matt was seen stripping off in a nearby lake shower to take a wash after his first trial after being doused with gunge in one of his many Bushtucker trials.

His unique way of bathing left Seann a little speechless, at one point realising he was staring at the MP before walking away.

Matt’s girlfriend Gina Coladangelo was spotted at Brisbane airport yesterday after she jetted off to Australia to see the controversial MP.

The former parliamentary aide, 45, flew business class and was met by an ITV staff member at departures as she gets to see to greet her beau, 44, when he exits the jungle.

Gina told of her pride at how he is doing in the jungle, telling reporters: "I have been watching the show, it would be difficult not to be impressed he has done really well."

When asked about him taking on the trials, she said: "He is made of tough stuff, it is hard not to be impressed. But it is good they are sharing them round now."

I'm A Celebrity continues Sunday on ITV at 9pm
