Billie Eilish is known for her unique music videos and for celebrating her individuality. When this Grammy Award-winning artist is not performing for thousands of fans, though, sometimes Eilish sings karaoke.
During one interview, Eilish revealed her go-to artists to cover at karaoke and beyond. Here’s what she said.
Billie Eilish is the artist behind the award-winning album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’
She went from the dark and creepy When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go era to the glitzy and glamorous Happier Than Ever era. In the process, she collaborated with Disney to release a concert experience on the streaming platform, Disney+.
Eilish became the recipient of Grammy Awards like Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album, becoming the youngest artist to earn awards in the “Big Four” category.
For one interview, the “Happier Than Ever” artist shared insight regarding some of her favorite songs to cover.
What is Billie Eilish’s go-to karaoke song?
During one video created in conjunction with Vogue Magazine, Eilish answered questions from other celebrities.
That included everything from her insight into veganism to her hair color history. Jodie Comer asked if the “Bury a Friend” artist has a go-to song to belt out at karaoke. It took Eilish a moment to answer.
“I really love H.E.R.,” Eilish said. “I feel empowered when I sing H.E.R. songs. Or like Chief Keef, to be honest. I don’t know if they even have Chief Keef at karaoke bars, but I would request some Chief Keef.”
Billie Eilish often shares her love for artists like Justin Bieber, Frank Sinatra, and Amy Winehouse
As a young artist, there are plenty of other musicians who Eilish shared her admiration for. During the same interview, Eilish revealed that she would love to duet with legends like Frank Sinatra and Amy Winehouse.
For years, Eilish has been a huge fan of Justin Bieber, even collaborating with the “Yummy” singer for a remix of her song “Bad Guy.” In a separate interview, Bieber got emotional while discussing the young musicians. Of course, Eilish reacted to the video.
“As soon as it came out, I watched it, and my mom and I just sobbed,” Eilish said during an interview with Zane Lowe. “My dad even teared up. My dad does not tear up. That dude is a stone. It was really sweet of [Bieber]. I mean, dude, think of what that man has gone through. it’s really insane.”
Music by Eilish, including her recently released album Happier Than Ever, is available on most major music streaming platforms. Fans can learn more about this artist on her social media platforms.
