Billie Eilish isn’t one to watch her words. Over the past few years of her career she has gone far by speaking her mind, and expressing how she has felt. And nothing has changed, as she recently hit out at rappers in the music industry.
The star delves between genres throughout her album, and has certainly made her mark on the industry.
However it seems as if there are some aspects of the industry she is not too happy with.
In a recent interview the youngster explained that “all the rappers” are “lying” about themselves.
While she didn’t name any names, the sentiment could perhaps be pushed on a few artists.
Speaking to Heat Magazine, via List.co.uk, the 18-year-old explained it is easy to “see through” people who claim to be rich but really aren’t.
She said: “‘Bad Guy’ is more about people that are always lying about themselves.
“A lot of it is about a lot of artists right now, a lot of rappers.
“I feel like pretty much all the rappers right now are lying, about how much money they have and about their house and their clothes etc.”
Eilish added: “It’s like, ‘Shut up, you don’t have this.’ It’s just annoying.”
“And it’s so easy to see through people when they talk about their money,” she continued.
“They have nothing else, so that’s all they talk about.”
While these are certainly big words for a relative newcomer to the industry, her point can be seen plainly.

Despite being one of the biggest artists in the world, Eilish has still remained relatively grounded – according to her mother.
In a recent interview Eilish’s mother Maggie Baird told the Mirror the young star hasn’t changed much, before adding she recorded the recently released James Bond No Time To Die theme song in her bedroom.
She said: “I hear Billie described as one of the biggest stars in the world and that’s very hard for me to process.
“We live exactly the same way except our house is full of stuff – lots more shoes and lots more fan art.
“We live this very normal life when we’re home except it’s also very abnormal because we do crazy things.”
She then went on to reveal Eilish used her old bedroom to record the incredible new James Bond theme.
She added: “People look at the big markers like Glastonbury and they’re like, ‘Is your mind blown?’ And I’m like, ‘My mind has been blown from the beginning.’
“When you have a 13-year-old whose managers are calling and record labels are calling, that’s really shocking.”
