Ant and Dec are synonymous with I'm A Celeb, but there's another iconic role on the show that has had to have a makeover now it's moved to Wales.

From 2013 to 2018 Kiosk Keith was a firm fixture on the ITV series, the man behind the moustache never speaking as the celebrity campmates went to exchange their dingo dollars for a prize.

After Kiosk Keith left, Kiosk Kev stepped in to replace him in the outback, but now as production relocates to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, the character has been renamed Kiosk Cledwyn.

But who was the original Kiosk Keith and what happened to him?

With so many changes for the 20th series of I'm A Celeb, ITV have cast a new face for the role behind the kiosk with a source telling the Sun that it wasn't feasible to fly over Kiosk Kev, played by Mark Herlaar, so brought in a newbie to play Kiosk Cledwyn.

“The name is a bit of an in-joke and is a nod to Cledwyn, who was the Secretary of State for Wales in the late Sixties.

“He will be the face of the new Dingo Dollar Challenge, the game played daily by the celebs to win treats, but it’s been given a revamp.

The source added: "The task is now known as the Castle Coin Challenge and will be just as difficult as before."

Who was Kiosk Keith on I'm A Celeb?

Straight-faced Kiosk Keith was originally played by Aussie labourer Raymond, who initially started the role on the side as well as working on the set for I'm A Celeb out in the jungle.

He had helped build the set since 2002 when he was asked if he would play the part as the shopkeeper extra which he did from 2013.

The father of four ran the Dingo Dollar booth, greeting celebrity campmates with his trademark straight-face and never speaking, as they traded their winnings in the mini challenges with the luxuries behind the kiosk.

Why did Kiosk Keith get replaced?

However in 2018 Kiosk Keith, aka Raymond, was replaced by ITV bosses after accusations were made against him for innappropriate behaviour while on the I'm A Celeb set.

ITV confirmed he wouldn't be returning in a statement in 2018: "Ray is no longer under contract on the show. There are no plans for him to return this year."

Since the 2018 series Kiosk Keith was replaced by Kiosk Kev.
