Weetabix horrified Brits with its serving suggestion this morning.
The cereal company recommended throwing a tin of baked beans over Weetabix to kick-start the day.
A spokesperson tweeted: “Why should bread have all the fun when there’s Weetabix? Serving up @HeinzUK Beanz on bix for breakfast with a twist #ItHasToBeHeinz.”
The post garnered more than 5,500 retweets and 2,200 likes – and it’s safe to say the vast majority of people were sickened by the unusual combination.
Food critic Grace Dent replied: “This is the worst food I have ever seen with my eyes.”

Comedian Justine Stafford chimed in: “People use the phrase ‘that’s nasty’ too often these days but I truly mean it when I say that’s the biggest monstrosity I’ve ever seen.”
A third responder remarked: “That is the most disgusting thing ever. I’m literally gagging.”
A fourth asked: “Isn’t the world suffering enough?”
And another added: “Someone call the police.”
While the vast majority of people hate the sound of beans on Weetabix for brekkie, some admitted they were tempted to try it.
One Twitter user argued: “Could work. It would just be like a thicker, crunchier toast.”
Another said: “That actually looks pretty nice.”
And a third pointed out: “I guess it’s like Marmite. You either love it or hate it.”
While Weetabix and baked beans is unlikely to catch on, Brits are begging for an old favourite to return.
Last week, people called for Heinz to bring back its baked beans pizza from the 90s.
Many said they "dearly miss" the nostalgic slices.
