When it comes to fashion, it's not unusual that we sometimes see celebs wearing the same outfit or the must-have bag of the season.
However, when it comes to red carpets, we don’t expect to see anyone wearing the same dress, but that's exactly what happened at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday evening.
Stepping out for the event, pop singer Anne Marie sported a long black leopard print gown by Alex Perry – and so did model Sabrina Dhowre Elba, who is married to actor Idris Elba.
And we don't know about you, but we think both stars absolutely rocked the wild print!
The Colton dress features a leopard devoré pattern and comes with matching gloves. This had us thinking, are long gloves the next big trend for autumn?
Both ladies accessorised their looks with sparkling jewels which gave us flashbacks to Marilyn Monroe’s iconic pink "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" costume.
This isn’t the first time we’ve witnessed a twinning moment on the red carpet. In 2015, actresses Laverne Cox and Gabrielle Union rocked up in the same white cut-out gown at the BET Awards.
The pair approached the podium to present an award together, but after some hilarious banter, it quickly became apparent that their outfits were all part of a very clever comedy bit.
Perhaps the duo took inspiration from pop icons Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, who once purposely donned the same gowns at the 1998 MTV VMAs to make fun of their diva reputations.
The stars looked amazing in the plunge-neck dresses, which they each teamed with a pair of towering stilettos shoes and glamorous hairstyles.
Not every matching moment is planned though, and some celebrities have accidentally walked down the red carpet in the same exact outfit as someone else in attendance.
Back in 2011, model Jaime King and socialite Nicky Hilton were spotted twinning on the red carpet of a French Connection launch party in Hollywood.
Despite Nikki cinching in her waist with a chunky black belt, nothing could disguise that the pair were wearing the same exact leopard print frock – at least they hugged it out though, eh?
