Michelle Keegan gets a Breakfast at Tiffanys beauty makeover

Michelle Keegan so rarely treats us to a grid post that when she does, all eyes are on her hair and makeup. She’s just given us a peek at her current look with a carousel of images seemingly inspired by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Michelle's hair, which she often wears down in waves, has been styled into a bouffant updo with loose fringe sections framing her face. The style is very similar to Holly Golightly’s from the 1960s film. Michelle even wears a Holly-like black velvet dress for the Instagram snaps to really add some extra vintage glamour.

We’re not sure what the look is in aid of, as Michelle simply captions the snap with three emojis, but fans are loving the grid update.

“The next Bond girl,” says one, while a second writes: “If I could look like this by Christmas please.”

A third says: “I love the hair,” with a heart-eye emoji.

This isn’t the first time this month that Michelle’s hair has made news. In another snap shared to her Instagram Stories, Michelle sported a high ponytail with a wave of curly extensions tumbling down her back, reaching past her waist and almost to her bum.

Although the 35-year-old nearly always wears her dark brunette hair chest-length or longer, we’d never seen it quite THIS long before, so we’d hazard a guess that this look was created for the filming of Sky comedy Brassic. In the show Michelle’s character Erin usually wears her hair down to her waist, piled high on her head and styled into bouncy curls.

As for Michelle’s currently glossy brunette colour, Cheshire-based hair colouristCalum Tierneyrecently went into further detail about Michelle's latest appointment Instagram account.

"After filming in Australia, Michelle went darker for her role, so we started a journey of going lighter to more of a mocha brown using @wellahairuki," he explained. He also mentioned that he used Wella Shinefinity on the former Corrie star, a shine-boosting treatment that Strictly star Fleur Easthas also revealed that she has doneto keep her colour looking its best.

When does mirror-like shine ever really go out of fashion?
