Like many other reality stars before her, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Habboo has gone on to enjoy a flourishing and successful media career. But when she’s not influencing in different parts of the world or hosting a myriad of podcasts, the 29 year old can be found living in London with her partner, fellow MIC star, Jamie Laing.
The couple got together back in 2019, and two years later, Jamie got down on one knee and proposed. Fast forward two more years, and the couple are now newly married, and getting ready to enjoy a second wedding next month in Marbella.
While their first “I do’s” were somewhat of a small(er) affair – just refer to the recent Spencer Matthews drama – the pair were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, including Sophie’s family.
But apart from the fact she’s got a gorgeous look-alike sister, what else do we know about the Habboo clan?
Where is Sophie from?
Despite featuring on the London reality show, Sophie (otherwise known as Habbs), is actually from Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.
She then attended Newcastle University with fellow MIC cast member Clementine 'Clemmie' Cuthbertson.
Sophie studied Media Communications and Cultural Studies and during her time at uni, resided in the posher student halls – Castle Leazes – where Princess Eugenie also stayed.
Who are Sophie’s parents?
The Made In Chelsea star was born to Sarah Wigley and Patrique Habboo.
Her mother, who once appeared on an episode of Made In Chelsea regularly appears on the star’s Instagram page, usually looking very glam.
This makes sense, as apparently, she worked in the wellbeing industry as an ambassador for Protocol Health and Wellbeing, a nutrition, skincare, and cosmetics brand that offers luxury products.
Sophie’s dad, Patrick is a partner and founder of Matrix Interim, a management company for executive industries. Habbs has also featured him on her grid, too, including on her wedding day, where she shared snaps of the two in the car.
Who is her sister?
Sophie has one older sister, Georgia, who is a makeup artist. She’s also the twin of the MIC star, and the pair often share sweet pictures of each other on their social media.
From eating out in fancy restaurants to enjoying lavish holidays together, it looks as though the Habboo sisters are incredibly close.
Georgia even shared some stunning photos from Sophie and Jamie’s first wedding last week, captioning her post: “Yesterday I saw my beautiful little sister get married and gained a brother.” Aw!
