Lidl opening hours: What time is Lidl open this Bank Holiday?

Kicking the weekend off with a bang, temperatures on Saturday will reach 20C in parts. And while we won’t be enjoying the heady temperatures from earlier this week as Britain saw its hottest day of the year so far, the mercury is still going to climb to a balmy 24C. However, parts of the UK could also see windy weather, with gusts expected to reach 60mph in some parts.

It may mean your bank holiday barbecue plans are put on hold, so best to check your local weather forecast before lighting the gas.

But whether you’re stuck inside or heading out to your local beach or park,  many will still enjoy a three-day weekend nonetheless.

And there’s plenty of deals in the supermarkets this weekend to make sure you’re well-fed and watered while you enjoy your break fro work.

But what time is Lidl open this weekend? brings you a simple guide on Aldi opening times over this second May bank holiday.

Lidl will also be operating reduced opening hours this weekend and into Monday.

Saturday, May 23: Most shops to open from 8am to 10pm

Sunday, May 24: Most Aldi’s will open from 11am to 5pm

All Lidl stores are open from 8am to 10pm on Monday, May 25.

These times can vary from store to store, so make sure you double check your local opening times to be sure.

Lidl returned to regular opening hours on April 23 following the lockdown.

Lidl says its stores tend to be quieter after 2pm and busiest from 8am to 11am.

Lockdown has meant many of our shopping habits have changed, with social distancing now the norm.

Some shops have insisted their customers wear face masks in store, though Lidl has not gone this far.

Instead, the firm refers customers to the British Retail Consortium statement for those looking for advice.

The supermarket giant has, however, introduced face visors which are easy to wipe and disinfect after wear.

This is in addition to protective screens and social distancing measures.

But despite the changing times, Lidl is still offering a huge array of deals, discounts and offers.

The supermarket giant has launched 10 new gins this week in a festival dedicated to the nation’s favourite tipple.

Prices start from just £15.99 a bottle, with flavours including seaweed, watermelon and lemon.

Or if you plan on using the bank holiday to step up your BBQ game, the Middle of Lidl is here to help as the firm launches a very exciting new product – a pizza oven for just £40.
