Keeping fit during lockdown can be a difficult. It is hard to stay motivated when you’re not going out and about and you’re confined to your own home.
One person that is on top of their fitness, however, is reality TV queen Kim Kardashian. The wife of Kanye West has an incredible body, but it does not come without hard work.
On Friday the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared her exercise regime on Instagram, and it is not for the faint hearted.
The star posted a snap of her trainers-clad feet in her home gym surrounded by weights. She captioned the photo: “FaceTime workout w @fitgurlmel” [sic].
It was then her trainer, Melissa Alcantara, who added the details of the FaceTime workout onto the post that Kim then shared again.
The regime began with “20 min straight walking lunges” and then the mother of four then did three rounds of 20 barbell bicep curls, 20 dumbbell hammer curls, 20 barbell skull crushers and 20 dumbbell skull crushers.
Additionally, as if that wasn’t enough, Kim also did three rounds of 60 ab crunches. Gosh, it does sound difficult to get a body like Kim’s!
Melissa has been training Kim since 2017 when her Instagram account caught the eye of the global superstar who asked her to come to Los Angeles and be her full time trainer.

She of course said yes, not least because her and her husband had already been planning the move.
Mel decided to become a trainer in 2013 when she was an “unfit super broke” waitress working in NYC.
She explained to CNBC Make it: “I was literally living month-to-month. I was never into working out or sports. I was an avid smoker and also gained 70 pounds after giving birth to my daughter.”

But one day she decided to change her life and do the 60 day workout program called Insanity and noticed such a big difference in her health and body that she was inspired to become a bodybuilder.
She has just released a book, that Kim wrote the forward to, called Fit Girl, and Kim shared it to her Instagram on Friday while saying “I’m so proud of my friend and trainer”.
