‘It’s going to be very, very close’

Finals are just around the corner and there are some big match-ups looming.

This week on the Real Footy podcast, Michael Gleeson, Caroline Wilson and Jake Niall take a look at which teams are likely to win this weekend, and why.

Which of the finals is the hardest to tip? Who will be key to Geelong's chances? Are Richmond going to take too big a risk at selection with Dion Prestia? And will Brisbane's goalkicking yips continue?

In the elimination finals, much rests on which Bulldogs team will show up. Who could be the match-winner for the Saints? Can Aaron Naughton tip the game for the Dogs? And the match in the west looms as the most straightforward game, but Scott Pendlebury could be the wildcard – in addition to Jeremy McGovern's fitness.

Meanwhile, off-season has well and truly started at North Melbourne. They've delisted plenty of players but the latest moves have landed Ben Brown and Shaun Higgins on the trade table. Are the Roos in danger of losing too much experience from their rebuild? What is behind their decision to put Brown up for trade?

Also this week, the panel discusses the recent All-Australian team selection and whether the system needs a revamp. Did the selectors miss the mark this year?

All this plus whether Paddy McCartin will be on an AFL list next season, chat about gambling advertising and the AFL, and much more.
