Rosie, a Golden Retriever, is a Service Dog in Training from New York, USA with her owner and handler named Claire. During the touching video, viewers see both canine and Claire walk around in a warehouse shop when Claire begins to simulate her symptoms for depression and anxiety.
She begins by pretending to hyperventilate when Rosie jumps up indicating her to sit down on the floor while a slowed down version of the Coldplay song Yellow plays in the background.
As Claire sits down on the floor a caption appears telling people that the service dog does DPT (deep pressure therapy) where a dog applies its weight and warmth to help calm their stressed owner.
Rosie then lays across her handler’s lap while the young American woman pretends to sob while another voice over acting as the dog says: “No crying. Oh don’t do that mom.”

The Golden Retriever then licks Claire’s face to help “calm down” before proceeding to hit herself on the head.
Showing that the clever hound knows all of her therapy training, Rosie then puts her front paws around her owner’s neck giving a huge hug.
The video fittingly titled: “She’s my yellow.” ends with the narrator saying: “It’ll be ok.”
Since posting the video to TikTok on August 24, Rosie and Claire’s interaction has been watched over 55.7 million times and gained 13.2 million likes.
In another TikTok video, Claire explains to followers that she suffers from several mental health issues that include borderline personality disorder, anorexia and an orthostatic heart rate.
Trained to learn and recognise her handler’s triggers and symptoms Rosie quickly intervenes and helps de-escalate Claire becoming worse.

Thousands of dog lovers left responses and their reactions to the duo’s special relationship, with Claire mentioning that they often do training sessions in public to help her dog practise.
One person simply said: “I never thought I’d need a hug from a dog until now.”
Another comment read: “Ohh the hug at the end made me cry.”
One TikTok user responded: “It breaks my heart to think about what these dogs might suffer seeing their human friends going through this.”
Several people also noticed that Rosie the service dog also had a rainbow-dyed coloured tail.
Claire addresses the reason why in another video post saying that it is a dog-friendly dye that helps identify the Golden Retriever when out and about and deters potential dog thieves.
