I’m straight but I like cross-dressing and when I do it I’m attracted to men – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I WISH I’d been born a girl so I could dress in their clothes.

I had long hair at primary school, which my mother refused to have cut because she was a bit alternative.

That suited me. I loved playing with my hair and trying on my older sister’s clothes until I nearly got caught by my mum.

My wife liked brushing my hair but she freaked out when I mentioned one time that her new dress would look good on me.

I found a private cross-dressing club and had some sexual exploits with men but only when I was drunk.

I am now in my forties, single again and looking at any attractive woman is a turn-on for me. The only time I like men is when I am dressed up.

Am I weird or bisexual?

DEIDRE SAYS:Human sexual identity is a multi-faceted sliding scale. What matters is that you feel seen and accepted.

The messages you got as a child and as a married man have been that this must be your guilty secret

You can find acceptance and support through the Beaumont Society (beaumontsociety.org.uk, 01582 412220).
