A mother has captured the ‘creepy’ moment that her two-year-old daughter told her that she was her own great-great-grandmother, reincarnated — at least, in two-year-old speak.

Mom @gi_gi216 shared the moment on TikTok in which she filmed her toddler picking up an old black-and-white photo of her grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her daughter, Ella, repeatedly points at @gi_gi216‘s great-grandmother in the photo, telling her, ‘That’s me!’

‘My two year old found a picture of my grandma and great grandmother. She is saying she is my great grandmother,’ the TikToker wrote, adding the hashtags #reincarnation and #creepy.

In the comments, she explained that they were at her mom’s house — Ella’s grandmother’s house — when Ella saw the picture for the first time.

‘She never saw this pictured before and could not have known that it’s my grandma and [great]-grandmother,’ she said.

In the clip, the little girl, dressed in a pink dress with a black heart print, lifts the framed photo of a piano.

She points and repeats ‘that’s me’ several times.

‘Which one’s you?’ @gi_gi216 asks her.

‘That’s grandma and me,’ little Ella says, holding the frame up to face her mom. ‘That’s grandma and me.’

‘Show mama which one’s you,’ the mother says, instructing her daughter to point.

‘This one,’ says Ella, putting her finger on her mother’s great-grandmother.

The TikToker shared a few more details in the comments, clarifying that the person Ella is pointing to is her own great-grandmother, or Ella’s great-great-grandmother.

‘She never saw this pic before,’ she stressed, adding that it was an especially emotional moment for her mom.

‘My mom almost cried,’ she said. ‘She just framed this pictured. My daughter told my mom the same thing except this is mommy’s grandma and me. I NEVER said it was grandma or explained who either person was to her.’

‘My son is my mother,’ wrote one woman. ‘One day he called me dollbaby… I almost fell off my chair… she’s been dead for 10 years [and] NO ONE knows she called me that.’

‘My daughter has said many times, “When you were in my belly,” or “When you were my daughter” … my mom died when I was 5,’ said another.

‘My daughter is my grandpa,’ said yet another, who noted that her grandpa died two years before her daughter was born. ‘She sings his barber shop gang songs. I don’t even know them.’

‘When my daughter was 3.5 she told me about her husband who died in an avalanche on his way home to my great-grandparents for Christmas,’ said one more.
