Some of Miami’s biggest names lent their support to Joia Beach restaurant over the weekend following the restaurant’s month-long hiatus amid the coronavirus pandemic.
We’re told Gloria and Emilio Estefan dined with family and friends at the waterfront venue on Saturday night, marking Gloria’s first night out since lockdown began in March.
At another table, Detroit Pistons player Blake Griffin was seen enjoying dinner with his agent James Dunleavy.
And across the way, Adriana Lima was spotted gabbing with a group of pals in a secluded corner of the restaurant. Our source told Page Six the Brazilian model “hung out with her friends until the venue closed for curfew.”
Micahel Bay and Flo Rida were also seen having dinner with friends at their respective tables.
Joia Beach was supposed to open in March but delayed its launch because of the pandemic and didn’t open until late June. The spot then shuttered again for a month for “venue enhancements,” in September and finally opened this weekend.
The ritzy venue previewed in early 2020 and hosted a party for Dwyane Wade in February.
