Making its debut earlier this year, Danish design studio Norse Projects’ Fall/Winter 2022 collection melds classic Americana styles with a dash of Nordic flair. The brand headed to the mountaintops for its first seasonal delivery, parting ways to Scotland’s northern coastline for its second drop.
Entitled “On Northern Isles,” the knitwear range is drenched in premium Scottish production and is captured across the country’s Shetland islands. Shot by photographer Paul Hempstead, its rough nature acts as a backdrop for Birnir Brushed Lambswool pullovers and beanies enhanced by a snug fit and multi-colored yarn construction. The landscape’s vast greenery extends into the horizon, seen alongside rocky clifftops and borderless bodies of water.
Muted tones of grey, navy, yellow, brown, and beige stand alongside vibrant blue and orange hues that decorate woven Fairisle patterns native to the region. These are slapped onto knitwear styles that garner a festive feel.
Norse Projects’ second FW22 delivery is available to shop now via the brand’s website and select retail stores.
In other news, London-based Unknown is doing it all for FW22.
