'My Hero Academia' Confirms Release Date for Fifth Season

Almost three months after releasing the first trailer for its upcoming season, My Hero Academia has finally announced its release date for season five with another look at what’s to come.

With much of the last season’s events wrapped up, the anime is now turning a new page, taking on the manga’s “Joint Training” arc, which will pit Classes 1-A and 1-B against each other in a new training competition. The story will bring to light for the first time the Quirks of many 1-B students, and also hints at the return of Shinso Hitoshi, a character that played an important role during the second season’s Sports Festival.

As for its release date, My Hero Academia season five will air on March 27, 2021, in Japan. Previous seasons have been available on streaming services such as Funimation and Crunchyroll, so you can expect a similar arrangement when the time comes.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Rami Malek and Denzel Washington are on a hunt for Jared Leto in The Little Things.
