Kim Kardashian truly suffered for fashion at this year’s Met Gala, so much so that her outfit left her in the ‘worst pain of her life’.

The 38-year-old megastar confessed that the mind-bendingly tiny Mr Pearl corset she rocked under her beaded latex Mugler dress in May left her with indentations all down her back and stomach.

‘I have never felt pain like that in my life,’ she told Wall Street Journal magazine.

Ouch. And here we are complaining that our jeans are too tight.

Kim K previously admitted that she had to have breathing lessons from famous French couturier Mr Pearl for the corset.

Speaking about her gown, she wrote on Instagram: ‘We met up in Miami right after the holidays last year and saw the sketches! I learned so much about couture from this genius man, it was beyond couture, it was art!

‘7 months in the making and fittings in Montreal, Paris and LA. Corset breathing lessons from none other than Mr. Pearl. It was worth it all!!!’

And let’s not forget when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted she could ‘hardly sit’ in the garment and couldn’t pee for four hours.

Anything for fashion, eh Kimmy?

The mum-of-four certainly slayed at the Met Gala, enticing Thierry Mugler out of retirement to make a stunning dress that gave the illusion of crystals dripping off Kim’s hourglass figure.

The star told Vogue: ‘This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler. So to come and design this gown for me is such an honour.

‘This is about eight months in the making… he envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping.’
